UPDATE: The coward has since deleted his Twitter account. Kind of reminds me of THIS GUY a couple months back.

A few other outlets have covered this story and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to chime in.

The story starts with a guy named George Tierney of Greenville South Carolina who, for some reason, took offense when Sandra Fluke went on Twitter and voiced her support for a bill that would protect the rights of working women when they get pregnant.

Following Sandra’s Tweet…George took to twitter to respond:

George Tierney of Greenville South Carolina acts like an assclown when Sandra Fluke went on Twitter, then cried about people "quoting him".

He has a way with women…doesn’t he?  He’s quite the charmer…sounds like a right-winger to me. Anyway….I digress.

Sandra naturally took the highest of all the possible roads and replied so that her 36,000 followers could see,

.@geotie2323 When no one thinks saying something like that to a woman is acceptable. The sooner u change, the sooner I can stop fighting.

Tierney, on the other hand, seems to be lacking in the grace department.

He also appears to have come up a tad bit short on intelligence when it comes to his understanding of public posting through social media outlets like Twitter.  He threw quite the tantrum after TBogg posted his incredibly charming response to Fluke on his blog:

Whoever runs this site needs to take my damn comments off of it. I did not give you permission, nor did you ask me for it. It shows up on google and I will see a lawyer if this doesnt disappear. Ask me before posting bullshit about me. You fuckers had no right.

George Tierney Jr

He apparently does not understand the concept of how the internet works.

When you say something on Twitter—which is the very definition of a public forum—anyone can quote you.  If you are going to be an a**hole in public…then learn to face the consequences like the male chauvinist pig that you are.

On last night’s season premiere of “America’s Got Talent”, an exclusive 4-minute “super trailer” for Marc Webb’s THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN was unveiled. And though the majority of the trailer is basically the last one we’ve already seen, it does open with a really good extended segment that is simply classic Spidey all the way.

I’ve been lukewarm on what we’ve been shown of the film thus far, but this finally got me somewhat excited. What do you guys think?

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN opens July 3rd. Check out the trailer below or watch it in HD quality RIGHT HERE.

Synopsis: THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field).

Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets.

As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents’ disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father’s former partner.

As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors’ alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
